Main Seating, Will We Miss Sail Party ?

Hi, again.
We have been given main seating as requested, but I see from the details sent to us that the ship will sail at 5.pm from port canaveral, will we miss all the fun due to having to get ready for dinner? or do they start the celebrations well before we leave port?
Can anybody help and share your experience's with us.

The party usually winds up with just enough time to get to dinner. To note, the first night is dress as you like in all regular rotation restaurants, so all you have to do is head down to dinner.

Were only doing a 3 day cruise, so if my memory serve's me right Triton's is the formalist out of the three so does that mean if that is our first restaurant we won't have to suit it and boot it ??
DH would be pleased as he likes to dress casual as he has to wear tie, shirt etc for work.

We just did this on the 7 day Magic. We had main seating.

On the first day, people are still getting their luggage around 5:00 and virtually no one has unpacked. We just freshened up a bit and went as we were. There were many that were in their travelling clothes; some in shorts and only a few that were in "dinner clothes".

Yes, first night dinner is total casual in all rotation restaurants it will say that right on your documents.

On the 3/13 sailing we left late - at about 6:15 pm. due to waiting for passengers to come from the airport.
