Main Gate or Lake Buena Vista?

Just looking for 1 night stay before we check in to Beach Club. Which would be closer, more convenient for getting to Beach Club the morning after --

a hotel in Lake Buena Vista/Downtown Disney Area or Main Gate/Celebration?

Any recommendations? We'll be arriving around 11:00 p.m. and hopefully out the door by 8:00 a.m. to check in to the Beach Club.

I'd like something without a resort fee. Contintental b-fast would be a plus but not a must have.

Right now I'm looking at Buena Vista Suites and Hamton Inn Lake Buena Vista

They are about the same distance really. I prefer the Lake Buena Vista area over the Main Gate area.. but that is just me.

Never stayed at the Hampton Inn, but BVS is one of our favorite places to stay. It isn't in Downtown Disney though. It's about a 10 min ride from there, depending on traffic. But it is sooooo worth it. Love love love this place!

Not sure what your travel party is, but the Best Western breakfast is only for 2 people and is a standard two double bed room. Buena Vista Suites is a good breakfast for everyone, two queen beds and a sofabed for about $85. No parking fees either.
