So long story - but I bought a really cute top from 2319 Threads to wear to WDW on the honeymoon. I had it mailed to my friends in Manhattan instead of having it mailed to my house in Toronto because shipping was cheaper and faster, and my friends in Manhattan were coming to my wedding which was a couple days ago.

However, the shirt didn't make it in time. So now, my friend in Manhattan has the shirt, and we were thinking maybe we can just mail it down to my resort in WDW and I can just pick it up there when I arrive in Disney?

We are renting DVC points at VGF, and we arrive there on Sept. 11th.

Same question - can I buy some Larabars or other snacks on amazon.com and have the shipping address be the Villas at the Grand Floridian, c/o my name or something?

How does this all work?

Thanks.

As an FYI, VGF will charge you for each package that they receive on your behalf.

I stayed there with my family last year and put in an Amazon order for about 6 or 8 items and, because Amazon shipped each of them separately, I had to pay a service charge for each package, notwithstanding that they were part of one order and arrived on the same day. I seem to recall that it was $5 or $10/box?

Yes - I did get that heads up. Thank you!

As a separate question - where do you order from when you want snacks and fruit and stuff delivered to your hotel?? I've never done it before. And, what kind of stuff do you order?

My husband and I were thinking Larabars and apples, but is there other stuff you'd suggest?

Amazon Prime Pantry or Garden Grocer are both reliable services for food deliveries.
Congratulations on your marriage xxx
