Mailing Christmas cards from Magic Kingdom

I had read somewhere that you could bring mail to Town Hall in MK and they would postmark it from Main Street, USA. Has anyone done this? Could I mail my Christmas cards from there?

Mail is not "postmarked" from the MK. I understand they will put a rubber stamp impression on mail, but the actual USPS postmark will be from Lake Buena Vista, FL.

We mailed some from the mailbox on Main St last year Christmas Eve and I was disappointed it was just a plain Fl postmark. Don't know if you can get something better added in Town Hall?

You could drive over to Christmas, Fl which is about 40 minutes away. Mail your cards from there and the postmark would read Christmas, Florida.

I actually called disney to ask about this, and they said it would be a regular florida postmark (I wanted to mail our wedding invitations from Magic Kingdom). Just mailed them form home instead.

We did this in October for our trip last week. We mailed notes to all the grandkids and the younger nieces and nephews from Disney characters telling them how excited they were to have them coming for our family reunion trip. City Hall in the Magic Kingdom did have a rubber stamp impression that they put on the envelopes. I don't remember exactly what it said but I know it was Disney World related. The postmark was Lake Buena Vista, FL. They stamped it right next to the return address.
