If I were to write a letter from the United States to England is there anything special I would have to do? Like extra stamps, etc.

If anyone knows and could help me, I'd be really thankful!!!

A 1 oz. letter to the UK is $.80. A 2 oz. letter is $1.60, etc. Nothing else "special" you would have to do, but be sure to write ENGLAND or UK in capital letters beneath the address.

Hope I'm not teaching "granny to suck eggs" , but our mail addresses look a little different to those you have.

For example, our addresses might look something like this:

Missy Bloggs
Hearts House
19 Mill Street
Little Bookham (if you live in a 'village' like we do)
Lymington (the postal town)
Hampshire SO23 9WE (Hampshire - the county, the rest is our
post code, like your zip code)
then UK

We have to put AIRMAIL stickers on oversease post, but don't think you do
