Mail to yourself @ resort

Have you ever FedEx'd a box to yourself at the resort? I thought if I could mail a box w/ snacks and maybe some clothes, the packing/luggage issue would be alleviated some. If you have, when do you mail it before your trip? Will they just hold at front desk? I figure I need to put my name and date of arrival on there.
thanks for any help! This is the first trip as an adult. I am 'in charge' of 3 generations from my family and 3 generations from our best friends.

There are other threads that mention the exact same thing. Yes, folks have done it, they suggest making sure your res number and dates you are staying is on the package. They have also suggested calling the resort directly to make sure you have the correct address and to give them a heads up that you may be sending some stuff..


edit/PS. Oh, as far as when to ship it, just goto fedex or UPS sites and see how long it takes for something to get there. They are pretty much right on as far as shipping time goes, you MAY want to ship it one day earlier just to allow for a misload or something. If it says 2 days, you would ship it on Tuesday to allow an extra day, or Wednesday to not give any leeway.
