Mail Call - Hoo Rah!

Has anyone else watched this show? It's totally rad & I wish it was an hour long.

For those of you who haven't, it's a show on The History Channel starring R Lee Ermey (Sarge from Toy Story & Full Metal Jacket) & he shows weapons from history, anything from an M-16 to a samurai sword or a hovercraft to a wagon wheeled canon. He talks about their history, shows what makes them work & then the fun part, how they work in action.

If you haven't seen it, check it out! It comes on Monday nights at 8/7c.

I caught part of it one night and it was really fascinating. The one I saw was on body armor.

Mail Call is great! I know R Lee Ermey is this tough guy DI, but he reminds me of a teddy bear Grandpa.

Ermey has said that he prefers being in comedies instead of dramas.

I think the guy, while essentially a character actor, is majorly under used.

I just caught it the other night. Gotta love Ermey. I enjoyed his role in the Michael J. Fox film Frighteners.
