Maid of Honor needs help

My best friend is getting married next year and I just had a question.....she is wanting to have a birdcage veil instead of a traditional veil since it would look better with her dress. My (her) question is when you get to the altar...does the birdcage veil still get lifted like a regular one would? She asked me...as if I know but I thought I would step up and do the searching for her.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated...thanks so much!

Surely it would be completely up to the bride If I wear a veil it's not going to cover any part of my face, for any part of the wedding, so there would be any "lifting"

Tell your friend it's up to how she feels comfortable in it, and how it looks best.
