Maid in Manhatten or Just married????

DH and I are going on a date tommorow! And we need to pick between these two movies. Are they both funny? Happy endings? Would a guy like both of them? here's the dilema. We have to see it in the evening. So full price for Just married, but we could use a pass for Maid in manhatten and only pay $5 per ticket. HELP!

ISSBHO, and if these are the ONLY choices .... would say that overall the reviews were a bit better for "Maid in Manhatten", and if "free" that helps a bit also.

No chance for "Chicago", or "Gangs of New York"?

Maid in Manhattan was ok, and I haven't seen Just Married. However, if you are in the mood for a romantic comedy, I liked Two Weeks Notice with Sandra Bullock the best.

Out of the two, I'd have to say "Just Married". I did enjoy both of them, but "Just Married" was worth the price in my opinion. The laughs were non-stop.

Hmmm, interesting decision. I saw Maid in Manhatten weeks ago the weekend it came out. It was good, but very much the predictible cinderella kinda story. I liked it, and would definitely suggest seeing it sometime. I had been looking forward to Just Married since I first saw the previews, and just went to see it last night. It was a Sunday night movie at 7:30 and it was very cold, and slightly snowing out. I didn't think the theater was going to be very full, but it was packed (forgot about MLK for students). I don't know if there was an open seat in the theater. It was soo very funny. One laugh after another. The only downfall was that they showed many of these laughs in the preview, but there was plenty to keep you entertained. While the ending to this was rather predictable as well, I was very happy with the movie, and thought it was well worth it. If you choose Just Married, do not miss the first 5 minutes, because they are some of the funniest. I also think this was one of the best roles that Britney Murphy has ever played, and Ashton Kutcher was hillarious.
