magnetic door signs

i see a lot of everyone on this site talking about these magnetic door signs. i was wondering, what are they for or where can i get one, its seems fun and i would like to get one for our cruise on oct 29 magic

You should get a lot of response to this inquiry, but you can start with my 2 cents:
The stateroom doors on the ships are steel, so you can stick any type of magnet to them to make your stateroom easier to spot down the long hallway of identical doors.

A lot of DISers also put Alien Green Mickey heads and their DIS screen names to identify themselves to any other DISers who may pass by.

You can buy magnetic paper for your printer at Wal-Mart or Staples, etc. and create something on your computer to put up on your door.

My 2 cents:
Don't mess w/the expensive magnetic paper...get a $1 roll of magnetic tape at Walmart and put it on the back of the signs you print on regular paper.

FYI...we also just got lots of different colors of paint samples from Home Depot, added ribbon and the magnet and made a very colorful and easy to find door. And no computer printing needed for those!
