Magnet plus tv equals HELP!

Is there anyway to fix the damage a magnet does to the tv screen?

Turn it off, wait a few minutes, turn it back on.

Give it some time and it should fix itself. We had that issue a few years ago and still have the tv. It had a weird shadow for a while, but it is gone.
