magician for 7 year old birthday party

Has anybody hired a magician for their children's birthday party? I live in Massachuesetts and DS will be 7 in May. Looking for ideas as well for his party.

I haven't, but my dad did magic tricks for my 7th birthday party (a looonnngg time ago) and I remember it was a lot of fun! I think 7 is a good age for having a magician. Too much older and they start to get skeptical...

I've heard that there is a web site with listings of magicians by state and audience (kids or adults), but I don't remember the address. Good luck!
