MagicBands with a 1 Night, Room Only Reservation?

We are booked to stay at Art of Animation the night before our cruise in February. Will we receive MagicBands for this 1 night stay? I booked and paid for this reservation 2 days ago but it is not displaying as an option to select MagicBands.

The last time we did this we were surprised when we arrived at our resort and were given gray bands for the 1 night. That was back in 2014. Not sure how things work with room-only reservations and MagicBands?

Yes, you can order your magic band for a one night stay. I have done this three times for one night room reservations. In "My Disney Experience" click on "My Account", then "Magic Bands and Cards".

I see in your profile that you live in Canada. They don't ship outside the US. I thought though that you could personalize to pick up at check-in.

You're quite right that they don't ship to Canada but for our longer trips we've always been able to go on and personalize bands and then pick them up at our resort when we checked in.

We have a vacation planned for next September and I can already see the option to personalize bands for that trip but nothing is showing up for our room-only, 1 night reservation in February.

You can use bands from prior trips. I would call to see what is going on for February.

It may be that your reservation was not done fulling loading in MDE..try again in a couple days

We personalized ours for a one night room only and we picked them up at check in because we live in Canada too. We were able to go in to our account just like all our other reservations.
