I think our magicbands got lost in the mail. They have been at the same location for 5 days and were already 2 days past their estimated arrival time. The question is who should I call? or Should I call at all? DVC? or Just the regular Disney number? We have old ones we could use but I was looking forward to getting the new ones.

Thank you in advance!

I would wait a few more days. I have had ours do that and for whatever reason, they weren't scanned but arrived at our house. Worse case scenario, you get them when you check in at your resort.

Whats the tracking say? where are they? Ours are taking longer then normal because before shipping directly with USPS a different shipping company handles them first before then giving it to USPS for delivery. Its probably cheaper that way for Disney but longer for us to wait for them.

Departed Shipping Partner Facility, USPS Awaiting Item this is what it says. I had to track down the number because it is no longer on mydisneyexperience page.

I've had some MB's sit in Kansas for almost a week before moving on. The worrisome thing IMO is that yours aren't showing in MDE anymore so I'd give a quick call to MS and find out what they can see.

I've noticed that they are taking longer to arrive. I too have had mine sit for many days before they start moving.

I do believe that our magic bands had historically arrived weeks before the trip. We received our bands today for a trip starting in 5 days!! And they sent the wrong colors. I called the number on the mydisneyexperience app for issues with magic bands. The cast member was extremely helpful and I am confident that the issue will be rectified. Point is...just call. And yes, they seem to be sending them out later.

It's taking longer because it's going thru 2 shipping companies versus only one. When it says "USPS awaiting item" that means the post office hasn't received it yet from the other shipping company. Keep checking the tracking but go on the USPS site since they will be making the last mile delivery to your house.

A lot of vendors use this type of shipping and the handoff to USPS can be a disaster. One time I had a package delivered to my local post office and they then accidentally shipped it to NYC adding another three days. One day to get to NYC and one day back and one to deliver it.

Good news! The USPS is notorious for failing to update the tracking. After final delivery they suddenly update all the tracking stops and delivery time.

I still don't understand why the MBs dropped off of MDE though.

in Jan 2018 we got an RCI exchange for SSR. room only at that time. Since that time we actually bought into DVC at PVB. I am going to get the AP that is on sale for DVC members, but I won't be activating it until day we arrive in Jan.

My question is, do we still get Magic Bands if we only have a room reservation and no tickets linked to our account.

This magic band stuff is new to me as we always got tickets from another source and stand off site via another timeshare.
