MagicBands and FastPass+

So I understand we get to pick our fast passes 60 days in advance. How many can I select up to? I heard you only get so many and only one park per day. Has anyone used the MagicBands? Please share your experience.

Just leaving DW today. You are allowed 3 fast passes per day, using the MDE app you can cancel, make changes, etc. Not really sure why the bands would be considered better than a card, but it does work as your room key at DW resorts and can also be used for purchases throughout the resorts and parks. Scanning it can be a bit awkward, it must be touched to the sensor just right or it will not work. I have read some reviews that many people are upset about the 3 FP per park limit. I am not a pass holder and have only been here 3 times in my life, so to me, a 3 FP limit seems fair and equitable.

We had a FP yesterday at MK for BTM. The ride was down, so our FP was automatically changed for use on any ride, any time during the day. We happened to be in the right place at the right time when it reopened, and ended up using the FP that was originally for BTM on another ride. All in all, I think it works well and we had no issues.
