I think my magic bands will be shipped to my home, I ordered today and trip is next Thursday, Is there a way to make sure it goes to my resort? Address showed my home address, but already placed the order in the afternoon?
 
Since you ordered within the ordering deadline, if you live in the US than bands should reach your home before your trip. Have you tried calling to see if they can send them to your resort? Not sure if they can but I would try that option if you don’t want them sent to your home.

Yes, I tried calling all day and everyone I speak to about my magic band tells me to go somewhere else!!! Got through who transferred me but now says they aren't taking any calls. I need to get this solved today and chat is being useless. I even emailed them and still nothing. trying to get my magic bands shipped to my resort instead of to my house.

Normally there is a cutoff date that is displayed in MDE that says you have to order by that date to have them shipped to your home address. Otherwise they are sent to your resort front desk. If you don’t receive them before you leave, ask at checkin if they are being held there. They usually have extras at the front desk in case you lose one or they don’t arrive in time, though it’s usually just the solid colors.
 

Now have no idea what's going to happen
1.Chat call Merch
2. Merch Call Support To magic bands
3. Magic bands can't help guess I got redirected. Gave me another number.
4. Chat Magic Bands won't be able to be changed.
5. Finally got a hold of support and told me wrong area and transfered to find out the line was closed. This time to say password reset.
6. Call resort reservations who told me that the bands would be sent to resort
7. Today they are shipped.
8. Merch line shipping to my house and they can't they don't randomly and will ship to address. Like some other have said who I talked too.
So now I really have no idea what's going on with several different answers. Don't think they will arrive in time since USPS hasn't been very reliable lately. Leave next Wednesday instead the day of my trip. Well at least I have others.

Yeah but USPS hasn't been good with getting them to me.

FIngers crossed! Once shipped, they have always arrived pretty quickly. If you have USPS mail notification, I think it will show up as a package from Davenport ,FL (???). That is what I think I remember. For our August trip, we ordered too late and the bands were waiting at the front desk. Good luck and have a good vacation - don't let this stress you out. They have extras at the front desk and if yours don't arrive in time, they should refund you.
 
USPS recently announced service changes. In short: their deliveries take longer now. It’s not in Disney’s control once they are shipped
 
For my upcoming February trip, I ordered mine on October 5th and received them on October 14th. It took 9 days (Including Columbus day which is a holiday). Hopefully you will get them even with Veterans Day.

I know just a bit frustrating, They do say Davenport but hasn't moved at all today and just saws USPS is still waiting item but Picked Up by Shipping Partner. On osmworldwide site it says Status: Waiting For Package. So I have no idea what is going on right now. Funny that the merch line said that Disney can't change where they send it automatically on their own but the reservation number said they could and was going to the resort.

Do you remember how many Days was in August, I counted from the day I ordered and it was at 11 days before my trip? Do you remeber if it showed your home address still?

Mine are in transit now. Shipped 11/5 and got the same messages you have. But today it updated to Austell, GA, but still says osm worldwide and usps is waiting on the package. Sounds like they use a third party shipper to deliver it the the local USPS center who then delivers it.

I just ( well a couple weeks ago) received my magic bands. I ordered them on 10/14 and they arrived on 10/23.

I think it was maybe 2 days after the deadline to have them shipped to my home, I didn’t even get the option of shipping due to the date. The trip prior we ordered the bands about 6 weeks before, so there was plenty of time then. I think they will get to you in time!

Lets hope, don't trust the USPS right now. It will be tight.
 
Thanks everyone was able to finally able to get some answer, went onto website chat and got through seemed to work better than the app or phone. looks like the band did get shiped to home, wish I thought of the website yesterday though. Hope it arrives in time.
 
Well after contacting the resort they sent me to the main line, but decided to see if I could just put in a request through the 3rd party shipping. Fingers cross they can change it, says it is currently being held.
