I got new Magic band accessories! There are MagicBandits, CoverBands, and MagicSliders

-----------------

Here is a Pirate themed CoverBand plus 3 Pirate themed MagicSliders (the MagicSliders come in one pack and the CoverBand is separate)

Here is how the MagicSliders go on the MagicBand

--------------

Here is how MagicSliders look on the MagicBands. They are pretty tight if you try to get it over the big part of the band, but it can be done

----------------

Here are 2 sets of MagicBandits - these have little flared pegs that pop through the sizing holes on your MagicBand. These seem pretty snug, but I can see how they might pop off

The MagicBandits can pop on OVER the CoverBands so you can use both accessories together! You can also use the MagicSliders with the CoverBands, but they are a little tough to get on over the cloth

I think these are really cool ways to customize your MagicBand! There are accessories for the more feminine-minded. Minnie and Tinkerbell themed MagicBandits and MagicSliders are out there as well as a cute dessert themed set :)

Hope this helps to get other people decorating their bands! :)

Make sure to get your slider with 2013 and Mickey ears from the check-in desk! We were CL at Poly last week and did not receive them - didn't even know about them. We kept seeing people with them so scoured all the gift shops with no luck. Finally the girl at the Contemporary gift shop asked what we were looking for and pointed us in the right direction! The IPO ladies at Poly had no idea what we were talking about - they were pretty clueless about the bands in general as we brought them with us - so we checked at main check-in, where they happily gave them to us!

Can you tell me where the accessories are available and what the prices are? I loved the Small World themed cover!

When we stayed at the Poly, we were there for our anniversary. We had no idea that they would give you pins for that. The cm at the front desk of the CR gave them to us:)

The ones I got came from Zawadi at Animal Kingdom Lodge - the Small World CoverBand came in a 3-pack of CoverBands.

Prices were:

$8.95 for the 4-pack of MagicBandits
$14.95 for the 3-pack of MagicSliders
$6.95 for the single CoverBand
$15.95 for the 3-Pack of CoverBands

We leave in 3 weeks. I am concerned about my 9 year old losing her magic band. If I purchase a cover band does that help keep the band on at all?

Thanks,
Lisa

Where did you get the pirate ones? Big potc fan (the ride that is). Do you happen to know if they have pirate ones at Downtown Disney seeing I will be there soon after check in. Noticed a poster mentioned to ask for a slider at check in? Will they give me one for our magicbands when we check in (at SSR) Thanks, very excited here.

The CoverBand can definitely help with preventing the loss of the MagicBand - if you pull the cloth cover so there is a bit of extra fabric hanging off the peg end of the band, you can pull the cloth back to expose the pegs, snap it on at the right size and then use the cloth to overlap where the pegs snapped into the band and prevent them from popping out

Can you purchase this stuff ahead of time or will thy be an option in the future?

I am pretty sure that anywhere that sells the accessories will have the Pirate themed ones. These came from the Animal Kingdom Lodge gift shop

The pirate accessories are really cool :) they were my first pick :)

You can find them on eBay but I don't know about Disney stores or Disney online. I hope they put them up on the internet stores so toucan customize them in advance!

Is this available for everyone or only people staying at certain resorts or levels?

I would really like to see stitch and monsters inc, anyone know if they have either of these?

If they come out with Marvel and Star Wars accessories, I'm gonna be broke.

I want some Pooh & Friends Band-its!!!! I have 8 more days left to change my mind on a color for my band.
Its all hinging on whether or not I can find out of Pooh is available as a Bandit :thumbsup2
