Does anybody know anything about them? I had read of them being able to get good rates at the Poly so I contacted them middle of last week and STILL have not heard anything. I submitted a quote request (filled out completely) and I got a very prompt e-mail from them just stating that they received my e-mail and would contact me soon...........waiting..........waiting........waiting....

Makes me think twice about using them even if they do contact me now.......

We are using them for the Poly this November. They were also slow with getting back to us. Only downside is you can't add the dining plan onto their packages. Everything looks legit so far, our room has been confirmed by WDW. I guess we'll find out next month.

Hmmm........no dining plan.......that may be a dealbreaker for us. Well, unless we can get the 55% off like I've heard about here.........then I guess we can go without the plan.......

Did they get you a really good deal? Much better than rackrate?

I am using them for a Xmas trip. We are staying at the Grand and are saving right around 50% off rack rate. We have APs so I'm buying the Tables in Wonderland card but even without that the rates are SO great that it's worth skipping the DDP.

I use them and have the great deal that you are talking about..although I wish I had the dining plan..I couldn't say no to such a great rate at a place I have always wanted to stay!! My trip is cheaper than any other way I have tried to book it..I couldn't do better...

I originally booked with them...they were very slow...I wanted to pay off my reservation before we went and got an email notice that they were on vacation I waited until about 2 weeks after they were supposed to return then sent another email no response...I ended up canceling (which was an email that was immediately answered) and booking directly with Disney I had a pin code so the price was still good and I added dining...I just felt uncomfortable although everything did seem legit and the price was great

I was curious about getting a quote after reading about the great prices people were getting at Poly. I submitted the info - it seems like weeks ago - and have yet to hear back.

I usually book directly through Disney- but their rates couldn't be beat for Jan. 2010. We're staying in a water view room at the Beach Club for $212/night. We also bought their discounted park hopper tickets which was a good deal too.

I used them to get my current deal for the week between Christmas and New Years. At times, they have been very quick in responding, but it has taken several days at other times.

I can live with the slow response just for the great deal I got for that week. It is the week of the highest resort rates .....Rack rate per night for Yacht Club, water view, is $595. I got it for $235 a night!!! Three night total came out $40 cheaper than paying rack rate for POR booked through Disney. That was a no-brainer!

I have used them multiple times and always had quick responses to my requests. The service at Magical Vacations has generally been fantastic. I've taken advantage of their deeply discounted rooms at the Poly and GF and they are legit.

Do their rates work out better than the 4/3 deal? I'm looking for 2 rooms at the Poly in May and since the official Disney 4/3 hasn't been announced yet I'm open to alternatives. I had planned on just doing a room-only rez with a travel agent directly and re-booking when/if the 4/3 was extended, but if these guys have better rates available for booking now, I'm game.

Can they get discounts on suites at the Poly? That might help put me over the top

According to the tikiman site they have been flooded with quote requests because of their wonderful deals so I guess you need to be patient.

I have personally delt with Lisa and she is wonderful! The rates seem to be really good so it may be worth the wait

Apparently, they buy blocks of rooms way in advance. The really good rates that are being discussed are only during certain time frames so if your dates are flexible then you have a better chance of getting the good deals.

We are using them for our New Year's trip and they have been great. I had to wait a day or two for them to get back to me, but I was planning so far in advance that I didn't mind. Also, they helped me decide between which club-level resort to choose.

Finally, our price recently went down and they contacted me to let me know that they re-booked us at the lower rate. At the same time, the checked to see if our IPO forms arrives, which they had not. They followed up with Disney and they arrived the next day.

I have nothing but positives things to say.

I am using them for the first time in Jan for 10 night Poly stay. We are saving more than 50% off of the rack rate. 10 nights cl lv comes to $7183 rack rate on the Disney site. I am paying $3138.80 (including taxes). Lisa was very prompt in getting back to me both by emails and phone. I just paid the trip off this eve by calling Disney directly with my credit card info and I have an official Disney confirmation. We have AP's so I don't need the tickets that come with the 4/3 deal. I am very happy with the price & Lisa.

We got the Poly through them 12/8-12/15 for $205/night and no extra $25 charge for a 3rd adult in the room that Disney would do. The only negative I had with the reservation was trying to do ADR's online.........it never worked with the confirm # I had. I called in and had no problem. It seems Magical Vactions books blocks of rooms and they are then considered "group reservations" which screwed up the online ADRs.
Not a big deal for what you save on the room. You will save much more on the room than you would save with Disney's "free dining"

We got the Grand Floridian, 12/23-12/28.

Garden view, which is what I booked first was $410 per night including taxes. I upgraded to Sugar Loaf concierge level, and that came to $477 per night including taxes.

To compare, rack rate those nights is $649 ($726.88 with tax) for garden view and $830 ($929.60 with tax) for the Sugar Loaf concierge rooms. So we're saving over $450 per night compared to what we'd pay if we booked directly through Disney. Of course it's worth not getting the DDP!!!! We can eat lots of food for $450 per night.

The savings are very significant--and this is Xmas week when there are no other discounts available.

I've dealt with Lisa and found her to be helpful. Also, the deposit has been directly to Disney (per my credit card statement), and the confirmation reservation I've received in the mail has come directly from Disney too.
In addition to no dining plan, to get those rates, you've also got to go during the times when they have those rooms blocked out. But they do get rooms during very popular times.

Just wanted to add that we are also using them in Dec- staying at Poly for 212 per night including taxes. Rack rate is 355 without taxes, and we'd have to pay 25$ for an extra person. There really is no way to get their prices on your own.

They were very slow getting back to me as well...took about 1.5 weeks to get the quote by email. But after the quote was received and I booked , every email I have sent since has been answered in a day or two.

I used them in May and CANNOT WAIT to use them again. Their rates are so cheap it makes you smile for weeks after booking it. We stayed at the Poly for a quick trip. As long as you are flexible they are the best thing going. I also read in the email from Tikiman that they are just flooded with requests. I also dealt with Lisa via email and on the phone. Everything went very smoothly.
