Magical Trip from April 2009

Okay I know this super old, but frankly I want to share some of the Magical things that happened on our trip, but since it's old we'll keep it short.

Luckily I have a friend who is a Disney expert who had me do some preplanning with Disney. We arrived late in the afternoon so we spent the afternoon Day 1 at DTD.

Day 2 we headed to MK. We got there about 2 hours after opening not realizing it would already be busy with not much of a plan for what we wanted to do. Started out at Tomorrowland. We had lunch that day at Crystal Palace then went back to the hotel for naps and to relax. We headed back to MK for dinner, the parade and Wishes but since we weren't prepared we couldn't find a spot for Wishes so we made the decision to go around back and watched Wishes from the carousel (great view of the fireworks but you miss a lot of other stuff, but very small crowds) we then got Ice Cream at Mrs. Potts waiting for people to leave. It was a PM EMH day so we still had 3 hours left to play. While eating our ice cream a CM came up to us and asked how much longer we would be. I thought they were trying to get us to leave because it was closing time (I'd never done EMH before so I didn't know how much stayed open) well it turns out she was looking for some kids to ride the Dumbo ride with Mickey and Minnie so that was Day 2.

Day 3 we headed to AK, we went through the park and had fun but by far this was the least eventful, least interesting park for us... sorry for the AK lovers.

Day 4 we went to Epcot, we had lunch as Auskerhaus with the princesses. My daughter got her picture taken with Belle before we got seated. Now I'm not entirely sure why but Belle bent down and commented to my daughter "well hello Princess, I remember you, it's so good to see you again" as we left my daughter asked why Belle remembered her, and I reminded her we had seen Belle at MK on Day 2 of the trip. She was shocked that Belle remembered her . We had a good time at Epcot but stuck mostly to the world showcase because of lunch at Auskerhaus then walking our way around. We got to meet Jasmine in Morocco which at that time was my daughter's favorite princess. We had dinner at Coral Reef and the food was excellent.

Day 5 was another really magical day, but we don't have pictures. We forgot the battery to our camera at the hotel and the Photopass cards got lost
Day 5 & 6 we spent at HS and on Day 5 we went to the Beauty and the Beast show well my daughter got selected as the Rose Princess for the show. So of course I told her that her friend Belle saw her coming in and wanted her to sit in a special spot and had a present for her after the show. So of our now my dd is convinced her and Belle are BFFs and Jasmine has been replaced by Belle as Emmie's favorite.

Day 7 we went back to MK and got so much more done, now that we actually knew how things worked.

Overall the park was great but completely different that what we had expected. I was used to traditional amusement parks and this was so much more laid back and about so much more than just the rides. We absolutely loved it and now I'm eagerly awaiting our 2nd trip back to the World for SWW in June.
