Hey everyone. In my research, the wdwinfo section has an informative preliminary port adventure listing for most of the islands on our SC route. It isn't official yet, as Disney hasn't released the activities they will offer but is a very good guess at what Disney may offer for each island as a ship-sponsored activity. Just click on each island listed for a review of what may be offered. Grenada has nothing yet, presumably because it is a new port?

Although I will be away for a while, visiting family. And I'll be gone at the end of August through mid-September, waiting for the arrival of grandbaby number three....a GIRL this time!!!!

Out of curiousity, I was looking at flights from Phoenix to San Juan..........I honestly had no idea that they were so LONG. UGH. I hate long plane flights. I'll have to make sure that I'm really tired, and can hopefully sleep at least halfway there.

I guess I'm more used to flying to Florida, spending the night there, and then flying to whichever Caribbean destination we're headed to. Breaks it up and makes it seem shorter that way.

It's been a while since I've been here but things have been very busy at work. Now that the "big" project is completed, I can start to catch up on what I've missed out on in the thread.

GarRy..... so sorry to read that you haven't been feeling well. hope you're feeling better real soon..... my sister and I are planning our annual WDW Holiday trip and it looks like we'll be down that way the middle of Dec for a few days. We'll touch base as time nears to see about having "Mickey Bars" together one of those days? ok?

Well - better keep reading all that I've missed. Really looking forward to this cruise just sad that it's still over a year away......

It's quiet because everyone is over on FACEBOOK instead of here. This is the discussion thread for the cruise, not FACEBOOK. I joined this thread to discuss the cruise, not to find a link to join FACEBOOK.

Would sure be nice if people were talking here. With everyone over on FACEBOOK, it's hard to get to know people here.

We're not busy planning much for this cruise yet. Busy getting ready for our upcoming cruise and trip to WDW. Does anyone else have Disney plans for this summer?

It's only easier because that is where everyone is. And posters don't want to put in the effort to be on the Dis anymore - they just want facebook. Why come to the DIS in the first place? The Dis is very easy and has worked well in the past for a number of other cruises we've been on.

FACEBOOK has too many privacy issues. The Dis can be as real time as you want to make it.

Completely agree with you on this.
I haven't joined the FB group and don't know if I will this time.
