Magical Moments

On this last trip, our travel agent and a friend of ours that is a District Sales Manager for Disney went above and beyond the call. They found out that my DW and I would be celebrating our anniversary while on vacation so they "hooked us up". When we arrived, we received a basket of arometherapy soaps and scents. We also received an autograohed picture of Mickey and Minnie, a certificate from the Pop Century wishing us a Happy Anniversary, another picture of Minnie in front of the Castle and gave us the perfect room in the Pop Century Resort. Plus, we were able to ride in the front of the monorail for the first time.

Also, on the same trip, we were in EPCOT in WS and we were trying to get ready for Illuminations. Well, my DS had a Buzz Lightyear rotating light thingy and the batteries were dying and we couldn't get them changed. So we went up to a CM and just asked if he could tell us how to change the batteries. He said he would take care of it and gave us a new one. No one showed us how to change the batteries but we did get a new one out of it. Only at Disney!!

CRYING!!!!

I swear I just love these stories!

I have been planning to do something nice for a little one while out there. I can not wait to see the look on his/her face when I do. I have this cute little Disney lunchbox (small one) that has ribbons on it and is sealed up with a suprise inside..(guessing candy). We are going to cary it with us and when we see a child that we want to give it to we will ask the parents if it is ok and then give it to them with a note on it that says "a special gift for a special child". I think it will be cute. I am also planning on getting a child a Mickey ice cream bar one day at the MK too if the parent says it is ok. I also am hoping to get a few extra packs of glowsticks before we go so I can hand some out. I so want to help spread the magic while we are there. It makes me feel so good. Plus I want to teach Ethan that these are very special things to do for people.

Hoping we end up with a magical moment at dinner one night or something too since it will be our 5 year anniversary. I have it noted on our ressies so we will see how that goes..lol

Leaving for the world in 20 days for our first trip and the magic has already started!!! My DD(8) and I went to our TA to pick up our documents. When we got to her office there was an larger size Minnie sitting in the chair. Our TA explained that Minnie was so excited to hear that DD was getting to go to Disney that Minnie wanted to come live with us. DD clutched on to Minnie and started dancing around. She has not let go of Minnie yet. DD is starting to dought the magic in the world. This will probably be our last year for truely believing in Santa. I am so glad that we are able to take this trip now while she still has the eyes of a child.

Wow these are amazing stories!

I went to Magic Kingdom the day of my friend's 21st birthday. Lena was very modest and didn't like having too much attention brought to her, so neither my friends nor I spoke of her birthday to any of the CMs. We were all sitting on a bench in Fantasyland facing the castle and reminiscing, when a Cast Member asked us to please come with her, because she has someone who'd like to see us...we were all curious, so we followed her into the Castle and there, in the lobby of the CRT, was Cinderella and Belle! They wished her a personalized happy birthday and autographs and we all took various pictures with them. To this day, none of us have any clue as to how they knew her name or that it was her birthday. But we've given up trying to figure it out, because Lena had an amazing 21st birthday!
(oh yeah, and then we went to Pleasure Island afterwards to celebrate!)
