Magical Gathering which resort? POP or POR

Ok, Iam planning a magical gathering for eight (05/28/04-06/06/4). All adults.. I can not decide on which resort. I hope room only codes come out for this time frame. Does anyone know if Port Orleans French Qtr will be open at this time? I have read alot on POP. What about POR? Any info would be great! Some of my group want to stay at the SWAN... PLEASE HELP

What I would do: Book the POR, but switch to POFQ if it reopens by then. I think you will enjoy the relaxation of the moderate more especially going with just adults. The only way I would go back to PC is to make my kids happy. The room-only code came out 1/26 last year for the time period you're traveling. We're planning a trip for that time, so I'm hopeful that the codes will be here by then.

Fmelchor88, Hannahryan gave excellent advice. I want to add that if some of your guests want to stay at a different resort than the others, by all means, let them. I have had many group vacations at WDW. Sometimes we were all in the same resort, and other times we were all in different resorts. Each of those vacations was magical (and we pretty much relied on taxi cabs and Disney transportation since we normally don't have a rental vehicle).
