Let me just say WOW! This was worth everything we paid and then some. The event started off with a reception at the Contemporary. There was fresh fruit, cheese and crackers, cookies, pie, soda, coffee and hot chocolate. I did not know that there was a reception when I booked the voyage. We were happily surprised. During the reception, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee mingled through the gathering. Group pictures were also taken (you could purchase them if you wanted). We all received a special Captain Hook pin. We were then assigned a pirate to take us on our voyage. We arrived at the boat and discovered that each row had a blanket as it was a cold night (this was very nice). Along the cruise, the pirate was delightful. He sang songs, played trivia games, told stories and made us all laugh and have a great time. He also gave out a few goodies to the children that answered the trivia questions. Although my daughter also won a toy for singing the loudest. We came to our first stop and watched the electrical water pageant. We then arrived in front of Magic Kingdom with Cinderellas castle in the distance. The lights on the boat went off and Wishes started. The audio portion of the show (songs etc..) were all played on the boat. It was truly magical. I was so glad we got to hear the show as well as see it. As we docked back at the Contemporary, Peter Pan was waiting for us with a lantern that held Tinkerbell. He spent a lot of time with us at the dock taking pictures and signing autographs. He was a great Peter Pan (very childlike). We were the last ones to leave and my children waved goodbye to him as he skipped away.
I would highly recommend the Magical Fireworks Voyage!!
