Magical Express

Is it really 4 hours now that the magical express picks you up to return to the airport? Last time I was thinking 3. That's a long time to spend at the airport. Does anyone have any recommendations on maybe a taxi or shuttle that would give us more time at the resort and less time at the airport waiting to return home? Just 2 adults traveling. Thank you

It is back to 3 hours for domestic flights. It was 4 hours for a bit, but it has changed back to 3.

We visited in February and last month and it was 3 hours on both trips.

You can book the magical express to pick up close to whatever time you want. Just tell Disney whatever flight you want that suits the times you want. But don't blame Disney if you're late for your flight as a result!!

Approximately 3 hours prior for domestic flights and 4 hours prior for international flights.
Last year for a few months they did pick up 4 hours prior for domestic flights due to construction in certain parts of the airport coupled with the new TSA rules requiring candy and electronics bigger than phones to be taken out of your carry on but that only lasted through the holidays.
When I went in February it was 3 hours prior and there was no hold ups at the airport.
I'm going in a few weeks and expect the same.

Remember: Your pickup time won’t be EXACTLY three hours before your flight. We had a 9:55 AM departing flight. Our ME pickup time was 6:50 AM. (Pretty close to 3 hours.)

SSR was the first stop. We also picked up passengers at OKW and both Port Orleans resorts. We didn’t leave POR until around 7:30 AM.

I think the shortest window of time we ever experienced was a pickup 2 hours and 45 minutes before our departure. Our resort was the last stop that time. We made it to the airport with no issues at all.
