I recently added DME over the phone to my DVC reservation (my first one as an owner!). Is there any place (either on the DVC member page or on MDE) to see this confirmed? Thanks.

I've done it at least twice, now, perhaps three times and have *never* seen it confirmed anywhere. I've called MS to verify before, but this time I just trusted that I'm ok since I have the DME brochure that was sent to me. I leave on Sunday -- I daresay I'll be back on these boards if, for some reason, I have difficulties using the bus even with my DME pass. :goodvibes

Set a date a week or so before when you think you should get your DME paperwork. If you haven't gotten it by then, put a call in to Member Services just to be sure. But they've told me that I had it, and I've always gotten the proper paperwork in the mail, and I've never had any issues -- so I'm expecting everything to be fine this time (this will be the first time I didn't try to double check with *someone* that it was set up, even though I can't find it online anywhere.) I bet you'll be fine!

I've never had ours confirmed and it's always been fine. The last time we went we had our MB's and just had to scan & all was set up on there.

I've never set up my DME reservation over the phone. I've always submitted the request through the DVC website, and they send an email confirmation with all your flight and passenger information.

MS has made mistakes in the past when booking DME for us.

I always call DME @ (866) 599-0951 to verify or modify an existing DME reservation.

I don't set ME through MS anymore. The one time I did doing it on-line there were many errors. Now I just go directly to the ME website and everything seems to work better.

If you submit on member website you will get email confirmation. MS does not give you any confirmation. If you have MB then you do not need voucher for DME. Even if MS messes up you can go to counter at the airport and they will take care of you.

I'm not sure I'd go *that* far -- just because you own a MagicBand does not necessarily mean all your information is on it and correct. What if it's from two reservations ago? What if it's a present someone bought for you from their trip? (What if it's a present they gave you of *their* MagicBand?:rotfl:)

I'd assume that a MagicBand that was sent to you for this specific trip would probably contain the Magical Express info -- but, if they send you the paper tickets for ME, a) you *know* they know about you (and, by definition, ME is set up for you) and b) if there's a problem with the MB - maybe their band readers are down when you get to the airport - you've got a "ticket" to use ME.

Any way you do it, the answer to the original question still seems to be 'no, there is no online, easy-to-read-and-understand, all in one place confirmation of your Magical Express reservation.' Yes, I've gotten email confirmation that MS has taken care of my ME request. Yes, I assume my MB has the ME information on it. Yes, I believe that the computer at the ME desk will say that I have a reservation. I will still make sure I get my paper ME tickets in the mail before believing it's set up, and I will still take said tickets to the ME departure point in case they're needed.

MagicBands themselves. contain no info. They contain a code that links to your account in Disney cyberspace that contains all of your information.
