Hi,

Does member services mail you luggage tags for ME after you book? If so how long does it take to recieve them? If I dont recieve them in time, how can I tell Delta I am using Magical Express?

Don't know definitive answers about the others, but it doesn't make any difference to Delta whether or not you use DME. What you need are those yellow tags to put on your luggage so the DME luggage people know to get your stuff out of baggage claim and send it to your resort. That has nothing to do with the airline.

The problem you'd have with not receiving them in time is that you wouldn't have yellow tags to notify the DME people to pick up your luggage. There's a way you can request pickup of the luggage at the DME desk if you bring your baggage claim tickets there. Not sure how it works because I have never done it. But someone else may have tried it.
 

I booked some time ago. We are scheduled for 1/24/9. SHould I have received them?

I think this is a bit early to have gotten them. You can call MS to be sure your information is correct, but about a month before the trip has been the norm for me.

Same here, Bobbi. We usually get ours about 30 days in advance.
 
I called just a little over a week ago to book ME for our trip 12/13 and MS said it was just perfect as they were doing the mailings for that time period. She stated that they mail out approx. 1 month ahead of arrival. I received our tags in about 4-5 days and we're all set to go! :banana:
