Magical Express

We will be taking the magical express to the WL for our up coming trip...question: Should we pick up our own bags or let the magical express deliver them to the room? our flight gets in at 1pm. When we were there 2 years ago, we ended up waiting for 6 or 7 hours to get our bags delivered, just wondering if they are still behind like that? Is it just easier to grab our own bags from baggage claim then head over to DME to get the bus to the resort?
