How far before your flight do they leave for the airport. If our return flight is at 12, what time would we be leaving the resort? We are trying to make a breakfast ressie and I'm not sure what time to make it for!:cool1:

We 're planning our first trip home (SSR) and are kicking around the idea of not getting a rental car.

For our return to Reality World, can we check our bags at SSR, go to a park for the day (we have an evening return flight), then get ME at a park?

If so, will someone at SSR chuck our bags onto a bus for us while we're having fun?

This is probably an very outlandish set of questions, but if I don't ask I won't know for certain if this can be done.

TIA!!!

EDIT: Nevermind....I found the answer, and it's "no" to catching ME at the parks, and "no" to catching it for an evening flight.

We just returned from Disney and used Magical Express, it worked out great. The bus picked us up 3 hours before our departure time. We flew delta, and checked our bags and had our boarding cards issued right at the resort. When we arrived at the airport, we went right to security, which was nice since the ticket counter had a long line that we didn't need to stand in. Everything went very smoothly.

The ME package I believe states that ME will pick you up at your resort approximately 3 hours before your departure flight

We just returned from BCV and used the ME. Our flight left at 8:26 pm and ME picked us up at BC at 5:40 PM. It made two stops after it left BCV (Boardwalk and Carribean Beach Resort). We arrived at the airport approximately 6:30.

My bad, I guess. When reading the WDW website's ME FAQs, I read: "Resort Airline Check-In Service operates seven days a week, from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If you cannot check-in during these operating hours, you will need to check in directly with your airline upon arrival at Orlando International Airport." When reading this, I guess I thought ME doesn't run in the evenings.

Anyway, one would still need to return to the resort (SSR in our case) to catch the bus. We'd prefer leaving directly from the parks.

Thanks!
