My coworker and I have a 8pm arrival in to MCO and need our luggage for bedtime and morning meetings. From the research I've done, I think it would be best for us to claim our luggage ourselves. Am I right? If we don't, what time of night can we expect our bags?

I always claim my own bags. I feel it's one less chance of loosing them. And I have them the minute I get in my room.

Your carryon bag should include whatever you need overnight and the next morning. There is always the chance the airline will misdirect your bag.

What airline are you flying? Southwest is in the opposite corner of MCO as the DME area. I fly SW, I'd consider using a car service if I was going to get my own bags. I'd be halfway to WDW in the length of time it would take to schlepshelp my luggage up to level three, walk to the opposite corner of MCO then go down to level one.

We use the Magical Exp. and always have our bags delivered to our room- they are always there about 2-3 hours after our flight. Once on a late arrival- we got in around 10:00 p.m.- they brought them to the room in the middle of the night and woke the kids.... In your situation I guess I would claim them myself. When are you going and where are you staying?:)

You can claim them yourselves and take them on the ME bus with you (remember to tip the driver for removing them at your resort), or you can pack what you need for the night in your carry on bag and then arrange for Bell Hop service at your resort to hold your bags until you call them in the morning and they will deliver them then.
