Underneath the bus or in the overhead rack above your seat. The overhead rack is very small, so most carryons won't even fit up there.... my laptop bag is flat and it fit, but my backpack would not. If you have any roll a board carry ons, they will have to go under the bus.

Good to know, thanks.

Given that 99% of carryons are black, does the driver ask people getting off "please make sure the luggage is yours"? So easy for someone to grab the wrong bag when they all look the same.

(I'll probably be putting red cords on ours. I do the same with checked luggage, but at least with checked you can be at the carousel.)

This is a PSA about that...Keep in mind that the baggage system is just a series of belts...and things that dangle off...including locks, can EASILY get stuck in that system, causing minor damage to the belting system, and usually MAJOR damage to the luggage. Please be careful when putting anything dangly on luggage for this VERY reason. When it gets stuck, the people that unstuck are not gentle by ANY means and there is usually loss involved.

Just a warning.

My little 19 inch rolling suitcase just fits in the overhead of the ME busses.

Keep in mind that if you store any luggage under the bus, it is customary to tip the driver when he gets it out for you.

Good to note! I'd suggest getting some bright red electrical tape and wrap it snugly around the handle instead.

There is also space to stow your carry-on under your own seat (not under the seat in front of you like on an airplane).
