Magical express valid for DVC rental stay?

That's basically my question... just wondering if the express (transportation and having your luggage arrive in your room, etc) is good for people who rent points. If not - exactly what is the express good for? What if we get room only and buy tickets somewhere else? Thanks, Danielle

Magical Express is good for anyone staying in a Disney resort, incuding all the DVC resorts in WDW. So as long as you have a room reservation at a Disney hotel (rented or your own points), and your name is on that reservation, you're good to go.

If you are staying on rented points, how do you set up the Magical Express? Who do you call, or does the person you rent from have to do it for you? Anybody know? We are renting points for a SSR stay in May, and would love to take advantage of ME.

We just got done with a rental at the end of January. Even though the Member had to set up the reservation, after it was done, everything was in my name.

You should have no trouble reserving ME.

I didn't realize Magiacal Express could be used by DVC Members traveling on their points.

I guess I need to go read more about this!!
And My Mom was just asking a few weeks about Disney transportation vs. us paying for transporatation from the airport. I said Silly Mom there is no such thing - We have to arrange your own transportation and pay for it (this is what we have always done in the past).

Just shows no matter how old you get (even if you are a Mom yourself)

Since your name is on the Ressie, you will have no problem using Magical Express. If you have the confirmation, it should have the number for Member Services on it. Just call that number during the hours that they are open (options 3 then 3 again) and they should be able to set up Magical Express for you. Of course you will not able to arrange any Magical Express stuff until March, as the nice CMs have not yet been trained on it yet and don't yet have the materials to ship out to you. So wait until March, then call MS and get it all set up.
