Magical Express to Airport / new TSA scanning

Has the pickup time changed for the Magical Express to the airport since the new TSA scanning procedures have been put in place at MCO? I know in the past it was typically a pick up time of 3 hours before your flight time. I'm just trying to determine approx. how much time we will have on our last day. Our flight out isn't until 8:00pm. Thanks!

No, the pickup times for DME return trips to MCO haven't changed...at least not to my knowledge. There really shouldn't be any reason for earlier pickup times. The new TSA screenings really shouldn't impact your return times. The 3 hrs is more than enough....MCO asks that you arrive at the airport 2 hrs before your flight departure time. When using DME you routinely arrive at MCO about 2.5 hrs before flight departure.
With an 8pm flight departure, you should expect to be picked up around 5ish.

There have been no reports of any changes to the pick up times. I think people, in general, are way over thinking this.

Ijust flew from MCO on Friday. ME pick was 3 hours prior as usual. Security at MCO was the shortest I have seen only 3 people in front of us. This was about 3pm.

You were lucky.We were there around 12:15 on Friday and it took 40 minutes to get thru ME got us to MCO about 2hrs (after stopping at other resorts in DW)before our flight but due to the line we only had time to grab a quick bite at Wendy's .I don't think we were seated at the gate more than 15 minutes before they started boarding.

In my 30+ trips to MCO, I don't think it has ever taken me more than 20 mins to get through security..from getting into the line to have ID checked to putting my shoes back on. BUT...I have seen some horrendous lines there when I have arrived at the terminal to start my trip.
I must be very lucky....the lines have never been that bad when I have gone through. Of course, having said that, I will be in a hour long line on Dec 13.
