Magical Express timing

We are here right now and it took just over 2 hours from landing too the resort
when we got in line they had just filled 1 bus and there were so many people we didnt get the next bus
so we saw 2 busses leave for the mk area resorts before we got on a bus and we were the last stop for the bus
Wow bad luck. Hope you have a good trip.

The one and only time I used ME it took us two hours from MCO to Boardwalk. We were on a late flight from NYC area, didn't have any checked luggage. We figured it would be quick, since it was so late (we landed around 11p) but nope.

We made it to the bus, waited a bit for one to come in, got on with another two families. Waited there for at least 20 minutes (my guess is that they were waiting for another family that was suppose to come in but never showed up)... then off to first stop Art of Animation to unload one family waited for them to get their luggage from under the bus, moved onto our next stop one of the All Star resorts again waited for that family to get off and get luggage, then finally off to Boardwalk.

Ended up canceling our return trip calling up our usual car service since we didn't want to waste the 3 hours (we usually use a car service but figured since it was late and would't be too crowded, we would save some money... just not our cup of tea)

I have never had landing to my hotel take more than 90 minutes using ME.

A friend had it take almost 3 hrs once. They never tried mde again and take a limo now.
Personally never had over 75 mins but also have never had to wait more then 10 mins to get on a bus

90 minutes seems about right but as many have mentioned, there are allot of factors that could make this number less or longer. We land on May 18th at about 4pm. We're staying at the BC and we have reservations for Cape May Cafe @ 7:05. I'm not worried about being late for it :D
Yeah, that's what my thinking used to be...until I booked something I really wanted to do, 4 hrs after my arrival. Well, of course that was the one time there was an issue with our plane! We never left Boston until 3 hrs after our scheduled time....got to the CR just as my booked affair was ending!!!

Wow...that driver sure took a funny route! I would have gone to AoA, BW, then the AllStars. BW is just down the road from AoA....going to the AllStars makes little sense. Oh well...I'm not a DME bus driver so who knows!

I have it take as long as 2 1/2 hours to get to my resort using DME. That may not happen very often, but there is no way of knowing ahead of time how lucky or unlucky you will be.

My time estimates are from when we get off the plane (not land) and arrive at the resort. Using the landing time adds an extra 15-20+ minutes onto the estimate, since you need to taxi to the gate and wait for everyone to get off the plane.

Unfortunately, DME is luck of the draw and you never know what you're going to get. We once waited in line for an hour just to get on the bus. There were a whole bunch of unhappy people on the bus that day. Other times, we've walked right onto a bus that left immediately and arrived at our resort within an hour of landing.
^ This.

I have never had an issue traveling or using ME. It has always ran pretty smoothly. On our first trip we maybe waiting in the line for 10 minutes but it was nice to take a couple minute breather after hiking it from the plane all the way down stairs to the buses.

It depends so much on how close the bus is to leaving when you arrive. Last year we were the first people on a new bus, so we waited at least a half an hour for it to fill up more before leaving. If you luck into an almost full bus, you could be on your way in 5 or 10 minutes.

I've have always been the last or next to last stop (usually use DME to resort on solo trips). I have averaged around 1 hour to 1 1/2. But I've got a small sample as I more often than not do a one day car rental on arrival. I rarely have seen anyone report over 1 1/2 but there's always that chance if your timing is off or there is a delay at the bus loading.

In 10 trips using ME, it has never taken longer than 90 minutes from landing to resort for us.

That has been our experience too. After using ME 10 times, the longest has been maybe 90 minutes. That was once when we had to sit for what seemed like a very long time waiting for the bus to fill. There are times when we have been at our resort within an hour of getting off the plane.

Here's a breakdown of 'possible' times...
From gate to dme area...10-20 mins
In bus line....0-25 mins
On bus....0-25 mins
Ride to resort...30-45 mins

If the stars all align nicely, it could be 45-50 mins from gate to resort. BUT...if you are unlucky, and end up with all the longest times? Could be close to 2 hrs! Average is running at about 75 mins.
