On the rare occasion when we have bags stored under the bus I tip per bag.

Otherwise unless there is a reason to tip and the driver goes above and beyond in some way its just a bus ride and I don't tip.

That sounds like a genera jobl description for driving a bus, not DME-specific. Or even Mears-specific, because in neither case do coach drivers typically handle cash.

So. Still not ME for drivers specifically. They do not handle money/take payments. ME drivers to not make change for any reason whatsoever. I don't care what the description says. That's not a ME driver job listing.

Getting a little defensive? Neither @Meglen nor I said we don't tip or that you (general) shouldn't tip. We're just taking exception to your statement that DME drivers only get paid for driving the bus. If you've got something to back that up, go ahead and post it.

This is true I actually over tip for things. I would also tip per bag I was just commenting on how we as Americans tip for things we prolly don't have to because it's part of there jobs. Like housekeeping and such. In other country's tipping waiters is super weird because they actually get paid a living wage unlike here.

I usally use FLtours for my transport and tip 20$ each way on top of the usally 160$ price tag (round trip)

Resurrecting this thread to ask:

If bag handling is not part of it, how much do you tip? $5? $3?

The one time I tipped DME without any bag handling, I was going to POFQ on a not-very-full bus. Everyone else on the bus got off at OKW or SSR (first two stops) and I was the only one left on the bus so had a solo ride on to POFQ. I tipped $2.
