Magical Express Question

We've never used Magical Express since we only live a little over 4 hours away, but my brother and his daughter are coming from west TX to WDW to meet us next month. They'll be flying into MCO and we'll already be at the hotel when they arrive. They were going to use Magical Express to get to our resort. We are staying DVC villas through a points rental site and bought our tickets through UT. Everything is linked on MDE now and all. How far in advance does he need to schedule everything with Magical Express and what channels should he use to do this?

ASAP and you can use the WDW main # and they will connect you.

Since it's a DVC rental, Disney policy is that the DVC owner book DME. That's not saying that they won't break policy.

DME can be booked now and the luggage tags will be mailed to him 30 days prior to arrival.

Thanks! I booked everything for him so will it matter to them if I handle the arrangements for them? I know I'll need his flight info (which I have). I already have his booking #'s for the trip also. I'll make sure I let him know about the Magic Band. His daughter will not be getting one since she doesn't have a park ticket (turns 3 during our trip), but he has one and it should be getting mailed to him in the next few weeks.

His daughter will be getting a band. Doesn't matter if she has a park ticket or not. If they are on your room reservation I believe all that stuff will be mailed to you, not to him.

Everyone listed in the rooms will have a MB. My 2yo has numerous MBs.

Should not matter if you're making the arrangements. Even if he doesn't have anything, he can bring his checked bag receipts to the DME counter (terminal B), and have them look up his reservations. Having the luggage tags and MB will speed things up.

Added: He/You can make the return trip arrangements at the front desk, or do so at the same time as the arrival reservation.

Good deal. He has his own reservation (even though I made it for him) since they are in a separate room. I'll call them and schedule it for him. Thanks for the help!
