Magical Express question

We are new DVC owners and just made our first reservations. Forgot to ask but is Magical Express "included" if I'm staying at DVC? Thanks. *I search for this but got mostly complaint threads.

Member services told me it was, since we are staying on Disney property. You just have to arrange it ahead of time.

Can DVC members use DME?!
Yes. Disney's Magical Express is a perk offered to all Walt Disney World resort guests which provides free bus service to and from Orlando International Airport (MCO).

DVC members can register to use the DME airport transportation service right on DVCMember.com. On the “Vacation Planning” menu, look for the “Disney’s Magical Express” link to access the sign-up page. The on-line signup form is quite versatile, allowing members to sign-up only the individuals within their party that will be using DME, and even electing one-way transportation if necessary.

After signing-up, an email confirmation is received within a few days. DME paperwork is mailed to the guest’s home about 3 weeks before departure.

DME usage is provided to members and non-members (including renters) staying on DVC points. However, the sign-up process must be completed by a DVC member.

Yup we have used it the last 3 times we were there. No problem you can call member services or do it online.

We've used ME many times as dvc members.

It does take a few weeks to receive your luggage tags, so I would recommend doing it asap after your flight information is known.

I called MS last Friday, was on the phone for only about 5mins and recieved our luggage tags and other info( which was all correct) on Tuesday. We're leaving on 1/24 for SSR, Real easy, real quick no complaints here.

If you book a cruise using points does magical express drive you to the port?

No. I believe transfers from Disney are $35 per person each way to and from the port - $70/person roundtrip.

Magical Express is designed only to transport guests between Orlando International Airport and the WDW resort hotels.

For the cruise, we have used rental cars and town car services in the past.
