My DW and I are planning to use ME for our upcoming trip in December to WDW. We are staying the first night at POR then moving to BWV. Our DD is going to join us several days later at BWV. Can she sign up for ME, too, or will we have to pick her up at MCO? Has anyone else done somethimng like this?

I would call disney to double check, but I would think that as long as her name is on the ressie she would be fine.

Thanks for the quick response. Once I have my flight ressies I will call them to add her name to the ressie. We just found out that she will be able to join us.

We have used ME only once before and really liked it.

justplaingoofy is correct. The only criteria for using DME are:

* named on reservation at a WDW owned-and-operated resort
* traveling to that resort from MCO on the day of arrival
* traveling from that resort to MCO on day of departure

Just make sure that Disney knows the dates your daughter is arriving and departing and you'll have no problem whatsoever. DME is not an all-or-nothing service, and it's not necessary that it be a whole-party or group event. You could have 4 people in your room traveling from 4 different cities arriving on 4 different days and all would be able to use DME without any problem.

Like I said, just make sure Disney knows when she's arriving (by having her named on the reservation for the proper dates) and also make sure to make a DME reservation for her. DME reservations are not automatic for ANYONE. You can call CRO to make the DME reservations (since you'll have to call them to let them know about your daughter, anyway). If you are less than 60 days from deaprture, you can also choose to call DME directly, at 866-599-0951.
