If I stay at a DVC villa such as OKW by renting points am I still able to use the ME?

Yes. The DVC member from whom you are renting should arrange to have your initial DME reservation put into the system. You can then update flight information directly with DME.

DME is available to guests with packages, guests without packages, DVC members staying on points, II members who exchanged into DVC resorts, guests of DVC members, and renters who are renting from DVC members.

You only need to be staying at a Disney-operated resort at WDW.
