Hey

My DF and I are doing a honeymoon trip down to WDW next Sunday (9/18) and we are arriving at MCO around 10:15, we have tentatively booked the Magical Express, but we were wondering if it would be better for us to do a Towncar instead, since it will be so late. We are concerned about baggage, having to wait for a full bus before we leave, etc.

Anyone have any suggestions?

(I know the Towncar would be more special for the honeymoon, but its a last minute thing, we are planning our real honeymoon for Jan, and so money is an issue... but the money would be well spent if the ME service would mess up our fun!)

We are arriving at MCO around midnight and I've been assured that ME runs smoothly, even that late. I sure hope they won't make us sit around until the bus is full. :hourglass I am thinking they won't. LOL

They won't make you sit around till the motor coach is full. In both directions, our DME motor coach was far less than half full.

If you're concerned about your luggage you could retrieve it yourself and have it loaded onto the bus. If you take a towncar you'll have to retrieve your own luggage anyway, right? We used DME in June and only waited about 10 minutes for the bus to leave. We're using it again in two weeks! :flower:

We had a late arrival 9/1 (landed approx 1120pm, went to baggage claim for SW 'DD left something on the plane, had to wait for them to bring it to us'). Our original flight had been cancelled (would have arrived before 9pm) when I called them to inform then about the change they told me that the "baggage handlers" went off duty @11pm, and that we should retrieve our own luggage. Well, when we check in with DME, they gave us the option for getting it ourselves or having them get it for us. They picked it up, no problem. We did not have to wait at all, there were several buses waiting, they instruct you on which line to get in, we were directed and got right on, the last ones on that bus (I believe). There were a few other families on with us. The bus stopped first @ Coronado Springs, then Animal Kingdom Lodge (I think), then our stop, All-star Sports. The longest wait was for the forgetten bag. Everything was great and comfortable, going and coming on the DME.

Look forward to using it on our return trips, if available. Best part is, it's free, why not use that "towncar" money to buy extra/more expensive things on you trip?

we used DME in june. did not wait long at all for the bus to leave. Very organized. IF you are worried about your luggage. Get it yourself and use DME
