Magical Express- Party leaving on 2 different dates

Hi
We are going to Disney 8/21 to 8/30. My son has to be back at college 8/27 and will be leaving 8/26. Has anyone ever had anyone leave earlier than the rest of the guests on the reservation. How does Disney handle this? will they make me have 2 reservations, one with my son and the other with the rest of the party.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi-

We did this last Oct - my brother's girlfriend and her daughter could only stay for a few days - we had no problem setting up ME for her as long as both their names were on the reservation with ours. Everything worked great - she had no problem flying in 3 days after us and using ME - also no problem leaving 2 days before us. Hope this helps!

Since it's the Depart that is Different ,Just let them know when you check-in.

They will note it and instruct you on what to do.

This is no problem as well as arriving at different times as well.

The only thing they really care about is the names on the Ressies ,everything else can be adjusted at any time.

We do this all the time with no problems. When you check-in, verify which days each person in the party is departing. My DH normally leaves several days earlier than me and my son. He gets his own reminder on the door the day before with his pick-up time.
