Magical Express Hours of Operation

This may be a stupid question, but what are the hours of operation of DME. I am looking at flights that will be arriving in Orlando at midnight. Do the buses still run, etc?

I would not do Yellow tags and just retreive my own bags and take them to the bus (if not you may not get them until next day )

That's one option. But that wouldn't be my choice.

If I were arriving that late, I would pack a carry-on bag with anything we need overnight. I would use the yellow tags on the checked bags, along with a hand-written tag on each bag, "Do not deliver until after 9:00 a.m."

That way, when we arrive at MCO, we could go straight to the DME coach, instead of wasting time going to baggage claim and waiting there. It's likely that we would arrive at the resort sooner. We could check in, without having to drag our baggage around the resort. The next day, the baggage would "magicially appear" in our room.

The importance of having your flight information on file with your ME reservation is so that ME will be ready when your late evening flight arrives.

ME buses (sometimes vans) run almost a 24 hour operation. After the last flight arrives and the arriving guests leave for Disney it is only a few hours before the first guests with early planes need to come back to the airport.

You can tell the front desk to make sure your bags are held until the next morning if you don't want to get your own luggage or to have it delivered in the middle of the night.

DME buses operate 24/7. If you have any problems upon arrival call Mears at 407-423-5566 (assuming there are no CM's on hand to assist you.)
