Magical Express, good or bad?

Hello again! The Magical Express came out the year after my first trip to Disney and I am planning on going next year in 2008 and odviously have never used Magical Express, would someone be so kind as to inform me how this service works? Is it good or bad? Has anyone ever had a bad expierence with this service? Thanks to all!! :

We have used ME since June of 2005 - and we have had no negative experiences with them. We typically carry on or get our own luggage - however, the two times that we did have them transport our luggage, we received them in our room in an acceptable amount of time ...

I've used it for two vacations and loved it. Both times I got off the plane, walked to the Disney Magical Express Counter, Got in Line, The Line almost immediately boarded the bus and left within 5 minutes.


For going back: Both times we received a note on our door telling us what time to be ready for the bus, at CBR I called and they came to get our bags. We loaded the bus at the time they said and were off without a hitch.


I don't know if it is always like that or I was just lucky

We have used the service last year and we received our luggage in our room fastly. At the airport, we have to wait twenty-five minutes for the shuttle.
I really appreciated the service.

where is the ME counter at MCO ... is it always at th same place ??

The DME counter is located on Level 1 of Side B of the terminal. Level 3 is the level you will arrive on, level 2 is where baggage claim is and at the bottom is level 1...all ground transportation.

Good, x3 for me.

I travel as the solo adult with two young kids and much prefer ME to using a town car. I have used ME three times and love that we skip baggage claim and head right to the ME area. My wait to check in has never been more than 10 minutes (despite a line that looks long) and we have only had to wait to board a bus once. They have movies playing in the ME area and coloring for the kids and my dd's like the video on the bus.

My most recent experience with ME in April 07: Our flight touched down at 9:10 am and we were checked into POFQ at 10:30am, much faster than anytime we have used a Town car. We hit the pool for a few hours and when we got to our room about 2ish our bags were inside waiting for us. We used wegoshop for grocery delivery and had water delivered from staples.

The return trip was just as smooth. You get your departure time slipped under the door the day prior to your reservation.

I admit to being leary of using ME but having used it three times now I would not hesitate to use it again and I do recommend it based on my experience.
