Well, it really does work, at least the reservations side of it. By some miracle, I was able to trade our other timeshare into DVC for the week starting May 7 for my beloved, developmentally disabled Auntie (Down syndrome at 64, she's amazing); we send my Auntie down to WDW with a trusted healthcare worker twice a year, and she loves it, and really benefits from her time there.
Anyways, I know a lot of folks have wondered whether folks trading in would be able to use DME, but I was assured that they can and should. I was able to set it all up thru MS in less than 5 mins this afternoon. Here's what I needed:
Ressie # (found on the II confirmation)
Names of those travelling
Dates, airlines and flight numbers
That was it. They will send out the tags and helpful info on how it works about 2-3 weeks ahead of her flight down. This should really be great for her trip. Plus I'll look forward to using DME myself whe we go for F&W this fall.
