Magical Express-Family with 2 departure dates?

My daughter and I have reservations in August for a week. My husband can't take the full week off from work but can manage 4 days. He can arrive with us but has to leave 3 days sooner. I'd like to add him to our ressies. Can Magical Express be used like this with hubby leaving one day and my daughter and I a few days later? I've used ME many times but always as a group. An input would be appreciated.

It shouldn't be an issue. Last June, my dd, dh and myself checked into BCV and traveled there via DME. My dh had to leave 4 days later...of course, I forgot to give him his paperwork for the bus, but he had no big problem. Then, to add insult to injury, my dd and I moved to POR for the last 3 days of our stay. We had no problems whatsoever with DME and all our changes. Just be sure that your dh is listed on the reservation for DME.

We are facing a somewhat different situation next month. I get to WDW on a Monday morning. Dh and dd arrive late Tuesday evening. We are all using DME but for some reason Disney had a huge issue with this...said we all had to arrive together. DME told me that most certainly is not the case. So, we'll see what happens when dh and dd get to the DME counter that night. He'll have paperwork with him to show that he does in fact have a reservation.

It can be done. The problem is that they tie all of the flights to your room. If you have more than one room, it's easy to input the data. Since you will only have one room, you might have better luck talking to DME Guest Services after you arrive to arrange for the departures. You would think you could do all this by phone, but somethings are easier to explain when you show the different flight itineraries, etc., in person. (That doesn't help the folks arriving at different times however.)

Thanks. I think I'll add him to the reservation and DME and like you said, when we arrive, we'll give them the departure info.
