Magical Express - day early?

Hi all,

We'll be staying offsite our first night in Orlando. Can we still use Magical Express for our luggage and have the resort hold the lugggae until we check in at BWV the next day?

Wondering a similar thing. Have someone who is still waitlisted for first day of reservation and has back up at another onsite Disney resort. Would like to use ME and have luggage sent to OKW and just take carry on to other resort. They would be happy to go to OKW and then take taxi or bus to resort for first night if waitlist does not come through.

Nopers. You have to be with your stuff. But you can use DME for just your return trip to the airport.

No, you must ride the bus to your resort to have your luggage ride the bus as well. No unattended luggage will be sent to a resort.

DME is tied to your room reservation. I'm assuming that you are planning on renting a car and just want DME to take your luggage right to BW, correct? The only way you could possibly use DME is if you give them a flight number/time of arrival the day you want to use DME...obviously the day after you arrive in Orlando. But, even then, you would have to carry your own luggage with you on the bus. So, it looks like it's just not going to work for you.
But you can book it for the return trip if you wish.
