Magical Express Arrival

Would someone be able to estimate the time it takes from arrival at Orlando until check in at the hotel? Our flight arrives at 8:20 am, and I am wondering how long it will take to get to the bus and get moving toward POFQ.

My average time has been 90 minutes from the time my flight landed until I reached the resort. My luggage is normally handled by DME.

We did have a 45 minute one once. I was shocked!

Last week it was about 60 minutes.
In 2006 it was 2 hours.

Roughly I would say an hour, but you just never know. Depends on the driver, traffic, how many hotels they stop at before yours and such. One year it took us FOREVER, the driver was as slow as molasses, getting us there, then trying to park and unload the luggage - I swear he was moving backwards - it was the longest trip ever - almost two hours and we were the second stop!!!

To me it is variable on if you are traveling at a holiday time. I will mention that your arrival time is early and you will clearly beat many arrivals. I would estimate and hour or so-as long we are not talking about Easter week

I usually go during slow times of the year, but average 4-5 times a year (early May, sometime in Sept, sometimes in Oct, and early Dec, then sometimes in Jan or Feb). It usually takes just a tad over an hour. Sometimes a tad less and a couple of times closer to 80 minutes. This past Feb 4th, we checked in at the DME podium and they told us to get in the POFQ line. As we started down the line, no one was in it and as we got closer, the CM at the end starting telling us to hurry, the bus was waiting for us. We barely got on the bus before it took off. We were the second stop, but still made it to POFQ in just under an hour, but we literally walked off the plane, down to the DME area, waited a couple of minutes at the podium to tell them how many bags we had, then walked straight through an empty queue onto a bus and left immediately.

Thanks everyone....we will be traveling on Friday, July 6. I was hoping to be at the hotel by 11, so it sounds like that should happen.

The average time, from gate to resort, is running at about 70-75 mins. I have had times as short as 50 mins, but once it was almost 90 mins. The vast majority of times it has hovered right around 70 mins.
The busier it is at the airport, the faster you will get to the resort. Why? Because if it's busy, DME puts more buses into service.
So, if your plane arrives, ontime, at 8:30am, you will be off the plane and at the gate at about 8:45ish,8:50...depending on where you are on the plane. That gets you to your resort at about 10ish.
Be sure to pack anything you may need to start your park fun in a carryon bag. You will not see your checked bags for up to 3-4 hrs after you checkin at your resort.

Once we were delayed enroute by 1.5 hours due to a bad accident on 528. Buses leaving the airport after us were re-routed. We were already on 528 and there was nothing for our driver to do but sit and wait.
