Magical Express and ressies with a Conference???

I am wanting to join my parents for a quick trip to Disney during the New Years eve weekend. They are booked at CSR for two nights through a family member who had a block of rooms at CSR for a Gymnastic Meet. Therefore they booked their reservations through the family friend. However, they do have a Disney confirmation number. OK so here's the question. My parents are driving to Florida but they would like for me to fly in and kinda be their guide, so they want to put me on the reservation as I can stay in the room with them. My question. If I am on the reservation and would like to fly in, can I use Disney's Magical Express? I don't need to worry about luggage tags because I will just have a carry on, but I want to know if I can ride the bus to the resort on the day of arrival for our reservation. Am I making sense??

Also, does anyone know if you can add on a package (ticket and dining plan) when you are booked for one of these conference type situations. I know I could call Disney, but just curious if anyone has done this.

Anyone on the room reservation can use ME, so once they add your name, you'll be fine. As for tickets and dining, usually there are special conference tickets. They are working on being able to add dining but at this point, the answer is no.
