I apologize that this question has certainly been asked before, but after searching the posts for an hour to find an answer, I decided to just post anew.

I have heard that the Magical Express as a policy always stops at GF first if there are GF guests on board. I also read a post by one of the ME drivers that he/she ignores that rule.

What experiences have people had in taking the ME to the GF, and how long has it taken?

Thanks so much!!

we took ME last summer to the Poly. The bus route was Wilderness Lodge, GF then the Poly. It took about 45 minutes from airport to check in desk. Have fun!

In September when we rode magical express it went like this: Poly, GF, Wilderness and then CR, we were at the CR and it took us 1.5 hours from plane to hotel.

I do not see why the GF should be first however because I think all four of those resorts cost is the same or close to it.

Technically speaking, the GF will be first to be dropped off, unless there are guests aboard for the Polynesian, then Poly 1st, GF 2nd. The reason being is that the GF guests on average are paying a bit to a lot more per night.

This reply isn't really directed to you but using that philosophy why did my DME bus stop at POP (a value resort) and CSR (a moderate) before dropping me off at AKL? The price difference between POP and AKL is at least as large as the difference between WL, CR and GF.

If Disney is trying to treat the GF guests to a "first class" experience it shouldn't be at the expense of other guests having to pass their resorts on the way to the GF. Just pay Mears to transport GF guests in towncars. Run them every 15-20 minutes or as soon as they have enough passengers to fill the limo.

We rode ME the first week of November and it was Poly, then GF then WL then CR going from MCO to hotels and on the return (hotels to MCO) it was CR, WL, Poly and GF.

On the way in a lady asked the bus driver why the CR had to be the last drop off....she thought since she was the first one on the bus and she was going to the CR she should be dropped off first....his response was that all the MK resorts were always on 1 bus and they always dropped off in that order now unless there was a hotel that a bus sis not have any drop offs for and then they would skip that one...

so moral of that story is if you are staying at the CR get ready for a lengthy bus ride or a nice tour of the MK resorts depending on how you want to look at it!!

The reason is because Pop is on the way to both those resorts. The same reason why the bus will stop at Poly before Grand.

We stayed at the GF in July and we were dropped off last behind, WL, CR, Poly. I'm not sure the exact order, but we were definately last.
