We are landing at 10:09 am on a Monday and would like to have lunch at homecomin. We currently have a ressie at 1:55 is that too late? How long would it take for travel time, check in and then head over to ds? We are staying at cbr...thank you

If everything goes smoothly, you'll make it, but if you have any delays, you probably won't. Keep in mind that you'll have to pay the $10 per person no show fee if you don't make it.

I never make an ADR for arrival day - there are just too many possible delays. But, if I were going to, I wouldn't make it for less than 5 hours after my flight is supposed to land.

You'll only make it if there are no delays at all.

I think the only way to make a reservation there is through Disney, so you don't have a way out of the no-show fee. for lunch though, I'd try to make it without a reservation. Dinner, no way unless I was going to sit at the bar (that is the only place I've eaten there, is at the bar)

You might make it, you might not. Figure 20-30 minutes minimum from the plane landing to checking in at ME, 90 minutes -2 hours from ME check in to your resort, 1 hour from your resort to DS. An accident on the highway somewhere, a delay in your flight landing, could jeopardize you arriving on time.

Personally, I wouldn't make an ADR that close to my arrival time.

I'd cancel the ADR and just do a walk up. Hard to imagine they wouldn't / couldn't accommodate you, especially since 2 p.m. isn't exactly a popular time for lunch.

I used to make a dinner ressie for day of arrival, but that got too stressful. Good thing too, since on my visit last month, I was delayed by 4 and half hours due to a mechanical issue on my first plane. So glad I wasn't stressing about a dinner reservation!

Us Too!
Now if we want a table service meal I just check the app to see what's available when the DME starts moving. Its kind of fun to see what's available and then make a decision from there. Other times we are so tired we just end up relaxing at the resort and having a quick serve meal. There are also more quick serve options at Disney Springs now with many of the restaurants offering both - iirc there is a take out at Homecoming and twice now we have found seats at the bar as walk ups (all adults).
