I got NOTHING done today. DD was home sick today (she's fine now) so yeah no Disney today. It's going to be a busy busy busy week!

I got NOTHING done today. DD was home sick today (she's fine now) so yeah no Disney today. It's going to be a busy busy busy week!

With DHs help, something was accomplished tonight. The labels for the kids pressed pennies are taped on (fully wrapped in packing tape) and 60 pre 1982 pennies have been cleaned and polished. One tube is filled, need to get more quarters for the second one.

Happy Halloween!

I was in a fender bender the other day. The guy that rear ended me was very nice and thankfully has insurance. The same one we use. DH explained our upcoming Disney trip (8 days to go!) to the insurance company and we will be getting a rental car for the trip. We will drop the van off the morning we leave and pick it up when we get back. They offered a rental SUV, but we are taking a sedan with great mpg (it saves them a few hundred dollars). I can't wait to see how much money we save from our gas budget! LOL

I just realized I have two off-days, two work days, and then we are headed to Disney!

DH is finally really really excited. Like little kid on Christmas morning excited!

4 days to go!

My parents have the kids today so DH and I can run last minute errands. It would be nice to get it all done today and not have to rush tomorrow. If everything is done today, then tomorrow all I have left is to pack.

Woohoo! Shopping is done!

May even try to make a couple of bleach design tshirts tonight.

Bleach shirts are so much fun and easy!

I bought two plain tshirts. Hot pink and navy. Found a Mickey head online, printed the template, and cut the shape using cardboard. Laid the shirts out flat with wax paper in between (so the bleach doesn't bleed to the back), placed the cardboard cutout on the tshirt, and lightly misted with a ~50/50 bleach/water solution.

They came out great!

Got a little packing done last night. Mostly toiletries. Hoping to get much more done tonight.

WE LEAVE TOMORROW!!!

Tomorrow we will finally surprise the kids with their first trip to WDW. After a year of planning and saving, the magic starts tomorrow!

TODAY IS THE DAY!!!

Trying to remain "normal" while the kids get ready for school is very very very hard!

The Magic starts in T-Minus 5 hours and counting!

The Magic has started early.

Went by the grocery store to buy 48 cupcakes and the only 48 they had all have Mickey shaped sprinkles!

Van is at the body shop, rental is packed and gassed up, just waiting on 11:30 to eat lunch with the kids and then - SURPRISE!!!

After 3 Magical days at Disney and one day at Universal, we are back home and tentatively planning for next year!

Now... to do a trip report or not?
